Huawei ‘will continue to provide security updates’ despite Google’s cut off

Huawei issued a statement in response to Google ending some of its ties with the company. The move means Huawei will immediately lose access to Google's Android operating system updates and also access to apps like Google Play Store, Gmail and YouTube. Bloomberg reports that Intel, Qualcomm, and Broadcom, are joining Google in the ban.
