Other alternative to get H-1 is find job in non-profit orgs. They comes under non-exempt quota. Throughout the year H-1s available for them to hire foreign skilled worker.

True. You cannot work in profitable organizations unless you file for new profit H1

Yes you can have H1b filed  by an organization that qualifies to be a non-profit organization such as higher educational institutions, research institutions. But the down side of that is you cant transfer that petition to another organization which doesn't fall under that category such as typical US businesses. But you can file a fresh petition next year under the regular quota and if picked you can move on to that employer

when luck permits in regular quota you can file and start on new H-1 in profitable orgs.

Better than not having 1 don’t you think? Certainly better than going to day1 cpt colleges.

yeah... antha easy kadu non-profits lo jobs ravatam.. there is one place called Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago that hires H1Bs... desi infested.. try your luck folks..
