Even a great screen would look crappy with a poor quality projector. You can simply project it on a white wall - there is no noticeable difference. I project it on a 16 foot wall. A crappy screen will break soon. So there is no solution other than going for a reasonable quality one if you want to project outdoors. Elite screens are good.
