salt lake city --> holtel in Idaho falls --> yellowstone (day 1) --> hotel in Cody (just for a change) --> go to yellowstone (day 2) --> cover grand teton --> stay in idaho falls then to salt lake city.

if available get rooms in YS itself.

Bears are active in Grand Teton

Black and grizzly bears are roaming throughout the park even in most winter months—near roads, trails, and in backcountry areas. Hikers and backcountry users are advised to travel in groups of three or more, make noise, and carry bear spray. Visitors must stay 100 yards from bears.
