Before taking office in 2016, Rep. Omar visited Somalia to appear with then president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. During her time in Somalia, according to her soon to be husband, Ahmed Hirsi, Rep. India ki Somalia ki theda ledu ani chepaledu ankunta ekkada. She is just pointing it out, I guess as long as it not false its ok..

Any country or for that matter any person should be open to criticism, there is always an opportunity to improve/correct oneself.

After BJP came to power, i feel that India is not the same in terms of religious equality. Whatever Ilhan said is absolutely true..

haha.. sare le. I have no idea who this somalian president is, and if he's part of the gang she was escaping Somalia from, or from the opposite camp.

The thing you cut and copy pasted from is confusing. did she visit Sheikh Mohamud, the then president, or Farmaajo, the to-be president? and what are the difference in their politics.

difference undhi kadha. 'most corrupt election' description doesn't say much. INC was also corrupt, but someone escaping India to escape BJP (which is the party that supports hindu majoritarian terrorism in India), can support INC kadha.

do we know what specifically she was escaping from?

as far as I'm concerned, she seems intelligent, smart politician, with her head at the right place. If you claim that she's a hypocrite who encourages muslim fundamentalism (which she escaped from),  while opposing other types of fundamentalism, then you have to prove it

you can't claim the entire Somalia is fundamentalist, with a broad brush stroke.
