its like newyork maryland states bro same like going to other state you dont even need passport driver's license is good to travel

Hawaii is part of USA. So, you need to have a valid visa or Real ID if you want to fly. In old days, TSA is happy to let you fly using driving licenses. As soon as some states have started offering driving licenses to 'undocumented' immigrants, TSA wants "REAL ID" or any document that federal authorities accept (in this case, for F1/H1 holders, passport with a valid visa).

Real ID rule is from Oct 1 , 2020. Still time is there. We can carry on with driver licenses .

From Australia I came to USA and my POE was Honolulu . Akkada nunchi Virginia I showed my license not even passport . Proof annaru ani cheppanu .
