corruption is part of the system. Its not an externality that can be removed to make the system run smooth.  corruption is the grease that keeps the system running well.

if you want corruption less society, then ban money, and share everything with each other, without bias or preference, except stuff that you personally use.

A capitalist system cannot function without corruption, without the system grinding itself to a halt. govts will always favour certain individuals or corporations over others, to create an imbalance that will propel the economy forward.

you are confusing efficiency with corruption. corruption in govt services exist because of the low tech nature of the interactions. The best he can do is automate them, and declare corruption as solved.

but it will continue in many other forms. corruption is unkillable, and should not be the goal of a govt.

Now I begin to suspect Jagan's intentions itself. Or may be he's trying to erase the corrupt image he has.

read up on what the govt's role in the economy is. hint: it is literally the driver of the economy in India. Not private companies.

govt picks winners and losers in India, through reservations, credit policies, freebie distribution and what not.

to say that I will improve the efficiency of the system is idfferent, to saying I will eliminate corruption.

because the existence of govt is corruption of society. it has to eliminate itself.

I think everyone is vastly underestimating and misreading indian society.

indian society doesn't care about corruption. it's constituents care more about their social standing in relative to other groups, than corruption. but they won't readily admit it.

that's why caste politics happens.
