ఆర్టీసీ నష్టాలను ప్రభుత్వమే భరించాలి

విజయవాడ: కార్మిక సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ఆర్టీసీ యాజమాన్యం చొరవ చూపకపోవడంతో జూన్ 13 నుండి సమ్మె చేపట్టనున్నట్లు ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ కన్వీనర్ దామోదర్ తెలిపారు. గురువారం విజయవాడ ఎంప్లాయిస్‌ యూనియన్ కార్యాలయంలో సమ్మె సన్నాహక గోడ పత్రికను ఆవిష్కరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ... వచ్చే నెల 12 నుండే దూరప్రాంత సర్వీసులు నిలుపుదల చేస్తామన్నారు. కొత్త ప్రభుత్వం ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల సమస్యల పై స్పందించాలని కోరారు. ఆర్థిక పరమైన అంశాలపై ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి పెట్టి ఆర్టీసీ నష్టాలను ప్రభుత్వమే భరించాలన్నారు. పాదయాత్ర సమయంలో ఆర్టీసీని ప్రభుత్వంలో విలీనం చేస్తానని జగన్ హామీ ఇచ్చారని గుర్తుచేశారు. ఆ మేరకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటారని ఆశిస్తున్నట్లు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ఖాళీగా ఉన్న పోస్టులను తక్షణమే భర్తీ చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

Basic ga they run in losses all the time and so Govt treats them like a step child ani valla yokka opinion

they have to run services to rural places where occupancy is very low and have to accommodate "Student passes" and other things. One other factor for the loss is salaries, which will be much more compared to private travels

Ika corruption mamuluga unadhu ga ... talk is that higher officials buy buses and give it to RTC for lease and thus making a lot of money
