No bhaiyyo its changing rapidly in bay area (and most companies ) , there is no diff between develeoper, tester, devops, production support every body has to do everything, weekly on call rotation team members will take turns . All cloud maaya, monitoring, splunk ani alerts configure chestaru , emina alerts vasthe call lo login kavalisnde  louda ekadiki potundo ee industry

correst bro.. I am into Devops but can handle both Development and Linux side of things... deenamma jeevitham weeknd voste chiraku dobbutundi.. evadu rasina code ki vade support anta.. so prathi okkadu prettymuch every week oncall... weekend bayitiki velhe laptops teesukelandi ani cheparu bhayya.. ila ne pani chetse inko 10yrs lo jeevithaniki byebye chepela undi stress levels.. ee louda lo agile daily taskulu weekly status lu abboooooo em avutundo emo... last week maa tema lo okkadu jump vadiki farewell lunch unde .. edo issue votchindi ani team lunch cancel chesaru... vadi last day vaditho kuda pani cheyaincharu..

bay area emo kani on my east  coast  side ma company lo 5 years nuchi same process

True..even though I am not in operations. I was told entire dev team is 24x7 as escalation engineers in our org
