The happenings in our society keep the media busy 24x7. It does not matter, whether the details are worth telecasting. One such issue is the recent drugs scandal involving Tollywood. It is common knowledge that people from High Society  have a different life style which is very different from that of a common man. Since ages and ancient times, it is the common man, better known as lower and middle class who are the true torch bearers of religion, culture and heritage. And not the High Society or Class.



For example, our kings used to maintain a harem of wives as well as a harem of concubines for pleasure. But, such acts were and are out of the reach of the common man. Whether in those times or even now. These same wives of the kings or their concubines in turn would have a string of lovers within the palace, simply because the king cannot satisfy all of them at the same time. The lovers usually being palace guards, cooks, attendants, etc. It was a matter of humor that, by the time the turn of one of the wives or one of the concubines arose with the king, it would be more then a year. That is why palaces would also be termed as places of orgies. This was and is High Society. Nothing much has changed from then.



Accept that, there are no more kings, but rich business men in their place. Stinking rich. And their children. Wine and drugs used to flow freely then and flows freely even now, in these rich places and during these orgies. Previously these places were palaces, and now they are called pubs and farm houses. These kings who usually call themselves of High Caste  and Birth, usually wallowing in such opulence and pleasure, gifted away our Culture, religion, resources and our women in a platter to the Invaders, whether the Muslims Turks or Mughals or the Christian British. History is witness that, it has always been the children of the Shudra Castes like Chandragupta Maurya, Krishna Deva Raaya, Veera Pandya, Shivaji, Kakatiyas, etc who have arose to defend our honour and lands.



Shivaji in fact arising to become a Kshatriya by deed and not birth, due to his various conquests. 90 percent of our great Kings and Generals have been Shudras. Ideal examples of our kings gifting away our lands and honour are the Rajputs of Rajasthan, with the exception of Prithviraj  Chauhan. These Rajputs simply catapulated before the invading Mughals, and even sided with them to overcome any resistance to their invasions. There are examples of many Rajput kings serving as vassals in Mughal Courts and going to war with them siding with them over their own Rajput brothers.



Closer home, it was the Velama Nayakalu, though Shudras and due to their jealousy with the Reddy, Balija and Kamma Nayakalu, who sided with the invading Bahmanis and laid the foundation of the 250 year Nizam rule in Telangana, after the death of the last Kakatiya King Pratap Rudra in battle.



The Nizam gifting the Velama Nayakalu with jagirs and territories in his dominion. It is common knowledge that, it was the Velama Nayakalu who ruled Telangana with a degree of brutality unmatched in history, on the behalf of the Nizam all these 250 years. Hence it is strangely ironical that, these same Velama Doralu which KCR belongs to, are claiming a separate Telangana, citing the backwardness of Telangana. Nothing has changed now, and nothing will change in future too.



Yes, it should be a matter of concern whether children of the torch bearers of our culture which is our middle and lower class are being dragged into this vortex. We should be worried whether our children are being attracted into this society of glamour, risk and danger. Whether, while trying to ape this society, are they loosing their way or the sight of the bench marks set by their parents or their other family members or their goals. This is and should be important. Because these children are our future. Our future Engineers, Doctors, Scientists, Technicians, etc. Not the children of these kings and queens, who only have to go home late, usually past midnight and wake up late in the morning. Or, at the maximum, wake up late and go and manage their family business for a few hours. And this is what the media should concentrate and highlight. Which is, whether the children of the common man are being dragged into this society of vice and corruption.



The common man is really not interested in the doings or activities of these rich spoilt kids. These kids and their parents are definitely not role models. Nowadays anybody can earn money, with their proximity to the people in power. And, 95 percent of these kids and the money being spent by these rich kids  is basically ill gotten wealth earned by their fathers. Adding further, it is these children of these rich kings and business men who are leading our state and nation towards doom, by their activities. Whether it is YS Jagan or Rahul Gandhi.



These people will not hesitate to sell our lands and honour to the highest bidder. Like their fathers. Whether it was the release of Warren Anderson from Union Carbide, or the release of Ottavio Quattrochi, or whether it was Missionary activities granted by YSR in our fabled and pure Tirumalla Hills, the abode of Lord Venkataswara. Keeping their legendary corruption activities to one side. Rajiv Gandhi  being the only Indian PM since independence having an alleged involvement in a corruption scandal. Till date. Of course there are exceptions in these rich people or their children who can be considered as role models. They being the likes of Lord Rama ages back, or Narayan Murthy in present times. What our nation needs is Rama Rajya, and not Rahul Rajya or Jagan Rajya.

Telangana Velama History: According to some historians Velamas belong to Maha Padama Nandulu of Bihar and came from Bihar. That is why they were called as Padma Nayakulu. Velamas ruled Telangana from Devarakonda, Rachakonda for about 100 years. They also ruled Palavancha, Kolhapur and Nirmal Jagirs. Velmas were also appointed as Desmukhs/Doras by Hyderabad Muslim kings in Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad, Khammam, Medak, Mehaboobnagar districts. After Muslims and Reddies, Velamas controlled large number of villages under the name of Dora. Some of them migrated to Andhra area like Palnadu Brahnaidu, Uttarandra, Srikalahasti, Venkatagiri, Nuziveedu, Pitapuram etc. and ruled some Jamindaries during the last 400 years.
