These are real glass material and heavy. Also, because they are curved, if you have a flat nose, it may not be the right fit.

Why do eyeglasses, sunglasses and frames cost so much more than an iPad?? The market is dominated by just ONE manufacturer (Luxottica) who acquired brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley and major retail chains (LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Pearl Vision, Oliver Peoples, Ilori, Target Optical, Sears Optical, several boutique stores, etc) and even the nation's 2nd largest eye-care plan EyeMed and thereby has a CHOKE-HOLD on other competitors. They discontinued Oakley from their stores on pricing, drove their stock price down and finally ACQUIRED Oakley! Ray-Ban's that used to cost $29 at gas stations/petrol pumps/pharmacies - they acquired it, took it out of the market for a year and re-introduced it at $150. If you manufacture eyeglasses, you want to be in Luxottica's stores and if you are a retailer, you want to sell their Ray-Bans - that means they can set the prices as high as they want. It's a brilliant monopoly strategy - own the market - manufacturing, stores, insurance and control it. Apparently, everything Italian is expensive! Shoes, clothes, bags, belts, eyewear...

frame glass venaka vunnavi oka model vundi bro.. this one I am looking for frame around glasses.. just like the style in the trailer above.. I found this frame in ray ban and diesel.. but I am looking for mirror glasses as well.. are there any sites that sells lenses cut to the shape of the frame? may be that's the way to go..

Any optical store can cut and fit glasses into the frame of your choice and also apply mirror coating, UV, polarizing, etc.
