I know of a friend who had this one...eventually he lost almost 49-50 pounds over the next one year and now he makes sure his weight does not than exceed much than his knees can bear.. Quote

Even weight increase can trigger it. I am 5 ft 10 and 158 lbs/ 72 kgs which is not bad but I still need to change.. Last 2 years nunchie no gym .. Last one year chala gout attacks.. And mostly home so ordered food a lot.. Pre-diabetic too now.. Need to change all.. Quote

I too experienced slight knee pains and found out that it was because of over weight..did work from home for an year and put on about 40 pounds in an year...did not do workout, instead bought a recliner and 60” TV and the result was 40-45 pounds more than what I’m supposed to be and borderline diabetic. Did no serious diet things or exercises but everyday, I made sure I go for a walk for 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins after work...and go to gym for 2-3 days a week and included 50% greens as my diet...although I still feast on tasty and spicy food. Able to knock down about 30 pounds in 4 months and still another 30 to go.. Quote

Afternoon : can't eat Brown rice and can't eat chicken everyday .. Evening : fish ccan't eat everyday and can't eat broccoli at all.. Carrots, cucumber snacks can do.. Reason : Gout..
