defeating religion doesnt mean problem is solved. secularism can also be leveraged to support dumb and evil things.

there's no one solution obviously. first is to understand how power works in the society, and how it is distributed, and to challenge that.

to challenge power everywhere, in every form, whether it exists in the name of religion, or secularism or communism or consumerism. by forging your own way, in little things, and encouraging more people to do so (even if you don't want to be suggestive).

by forming coalitions, but also destroying them once they turn toxic. to reform them again.

its hard. to fall in line is easier. but  mental trauma, or mental slavishness is attached to falling in line with the system.

in other words. be a rebel. in any little way possible. never agree with the crowd.

that's what we have to teach kids to bring down the elites.
