topic is about the new education policy draft floated by the govt, which contains the same sh1t as the earlier draft they floated in 2016 (which was heavily criticized).

the salient points are:

1. setting up national testing centers, hence taking away the ability of conducting tests by the state govts, and its respective institutions, even when education is in the concurrent list, which allows the state to opt out of central govt guidelines

2. 3 language policy, which imposes hindi on all states, and advises northern states to learn southern languages
