Housing Market 2019-2020

How's it now ? Would it go down in  2020 especially in big cities.

Experts suggestion needed for new buyers/sellers....

No body will be able to predict that, but i have observed that it has flattened out this summer, it might remain the same but its going to be an uphill battle for next few years. Only saving grace is the low mortgage rates

in my place , there is an investment of500 million from arab countries for building high rise , prices have gone up , and there is hardly any inventory , the guy who build my house makes close to 2 million dollars per year. 

Other hand my friend bought in a different location where there are lot of inventory and he did not see any appreciation 

my place took a big hit back in 2008 , other wise steady pace of growth

Big metros lo desirable areas with good schools like Alpharetta/Cumming, Irving/Frisco, San Jose/Cupertino ilanti areas lo prices may stagnate but they will not fall... On the other hand if you buy in areas like Alabama, Louisiana prices may fall quickly..

Tatha gari tax plan valla no tax advantage in owning a house anymore and interest rates rising.

 

Both of these factors are causing some prospective buyers to shy away.

 

Dont think the values will fall but it may remain stagnant (+/- 2%) in my opinion

2020 /early 2021 lo recession vasthe chepalemu i guess.

From 2015-2019 It was huge increase in prices... 2014/2015 buyers are lucky in a way...

yep.

Bay Area lo oka example: -

2002-2003= 900 K

2008-2010 = 500 K

2017 = 900 K

2018 = 1.2 M
