as usual a lot of losers questioning how free public transport ensures safety of women.

use brain fcukfaces. public transport == safe million times compared to private buses where that famous rape and murder happened.

It should be done for all other cities.

first for women, and then for elders and children, and then slowly for everyone. public transport should be free.

fair enough. but the daily wage labourer's wife won't have to pay. he can still save the price of her ticket. most of labourers work as a family in one place and travel together.

eventually it has to become free for all. subsidized by people driving cars with higher parking fees, registration fees, road taxes, etc.

the idea that public transport ought to be free, or atleast heavily subsidized like MRTS level fares, not metro level fares should become more common. so people don't blindly pay high rates for public transport.

Its also good for the environment if everyone use public transport.

govts can narrow roads, and provide more public spaces for art, and community, than for fcuking showoffs with cars.

people can cyle within 5km, and can use public transport for longer distances. The really rich can use cars, and be made to pay a huge price for using it. like in singapore.

But Yeah I don't think rich delhi  girls anyhow use public transport but for other sections it sure is a good initiative
