House committee hears from TSA, FBI reps on facial recognition technology

Members of the House Oversight Committee are seeking to halt or limit the use of facial recognition technology by government agencies. Representatives from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are clarifying their usage before the committee.

Automation efforts to remove labor. Situations like Gov Shutdown no longer a big issue if they have @BOT's doing the screening. Instead of 25 TSA employees they can run with 5.
