Republicans signal they may block Trump's tariffs on Mexico

In a bid to stop Trump's announced 5% tariff on Mexican goods in response to migrant flows, which they fear could undermine a trade deal with Mexico and Canada and hit border states, Republican senators suggested they might intervene to block the duties on neighboring Mexico, including overriding a potential White House veto.
