Desi WITCHes want your personal information even before they get you to the interview round, mostly because they sell your personal information I believe. I am considering filing a lawsuit against these Indian WITCHes who collect too much personal information. Fair point by Kumar here. Quote

It's not required to collect all this information as per the rule of the law. I am looking to attract more such emails so I can have email proof. Once I have enough evidence, I am going to personally file a lawsuit against some of the WITCH companies, and will approach my local congressman to raise this issue as well. Quote
tennisluvr Posted June 5, 2019 Author Report Posted June 5, 2019 IT's super easy for these companies that collect all your personal information to sell these to third parties, esp something as sensitive as SSN shouldn't be given to anyone. Last 4 is okay but to ask complete SSN, that's blatant violation of privacy laws. Quote

Its the absent-minded third-grade recruiters who work for the mestris ask for such info... Quote

I am going to make a dummy profile and post a resume on some job websites so I can bait and lure such mestris. I will then provide their information to USCIS. I am already in touch with an attorney who works with USCIS on identity theft issues. Quote

Android_Halwa Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 There are these 'clever' recruiters who work out of hyd/blr and think themselves as ace recruiters and experts at filtering 'fake' candidates out of the pool and these idiots insist on passport copy/passport number so that they can retrieve I-94 number to see the travel history and class f visa and its validity and conclude that so and so candidate is genuine and offer hourly billing based on this info but not on the market levels.. Such type of idiots is usually a layer in between...and in honest opinion, if someone asks for unnecessary info such as passport copy or anything else, just BLINDLY ignore as we will only be wasting our time or unknowingly we are preparing ourselves to accept lower billing rates to work.
