The issue with music from south directors is - some of south’s songs don’t have nativity to Telugu or Hindi. One example is “Jiya Jale Jaan Jale” that may be suited to Malayalam but not Telugu and definitely not Bollywood!! But it was dubbed as-is to other languages. Songs like Abhinandana are melodious but not 100% native to Telugu.
