acuman Posted June 6, 2019 Report Posted June 6, 2019 Name of the course and course code in which the student is/was enrolled that requires CPT: o Can be obtained from University’s graduate course catalog. · Evidence that immediate participation in CPT is/was required for the student’s studies: o Request letter from University confirming that immediate participation in CPT is required, and that this policy affects all student participants regardless of whether the student previously had or did not have CPT or OPT at the Master’s degree level at a previous institution of higher education. o Should also state this in the University’s graduate course catalog. · Evidence establishing both the student’s current major and that CPT is an integral (essential) part of the student’s degree program: o Request letter from University confirming that CPT is an integral (essential) part of the student’s degree program. o Should also state this in the University’s graduate course catalog. · Letter from the CPT employer, explaining the student’s job duties, pay and period of employment and confirming that the student’s CPT is/was directly related to his/her major area of study: o Ensure that the letter from the CPT employer includes all of these details. · Evidence of the cooperative agreement between the CPT employer and University: o The CPT Cooperative Agreement must be signed by student, CPT employer, and the University. o Note that a CPT Application Form is NOT sufficient. · Prepare detailed statement explaining how the student obtained CPT employment at the company – whether individually, through the school, or through an outside company or consultancy: o The statement should provide a narrative or story about the student, including details about when he/she came to the U.S. to study, the degree program pursued, any previous OPT employment, why he/she decided to pursue a second Master’s degree program (if applicable), how he/she obtained CPT employment, job duties and experience gained during CPT employment, relevant and important courses taken that are helpful for CPT employment, etc. Quote

Blanket Subpoena It has become a common practice for vendors to collect H-1B copies and other immigration related documents. USCIS and ICE is issuing blanket subpoena (I-138) to vendors for all immigration documents collected by them. If any consultancy owner has knowingly or unknowingly sent a false H-1B copy to the vendor there are at grave risk. Quote

Don't confuse malpractices with sending genuine rfe mitigating documents. Quote
