ForEverJava
I used to be big Costco fan..it's both +/-..one side I get lot of advantage for buying nhome goods in bulk but flip side u spend a lot without knowing ..I have lot of friends who got addicted to Costco just for easting samples and buying stuff not needed thinking nwill do returns later .but year end credit card bill chooste dimma tiruguddi.. But like someone said if u just bought home and setting up thing like electronics wahser dryer patio furniture or doing travel it works out btw.. Ameriprise is cheaper but it's cliam process is too much harder ..friend went through told not to use Ameriprise.. Also on gas also it can save a lot in a year for premium cars.. Just my 2 cents 😛

ekunadam_enkanna
Their gas is cheaper, costco citi card gives you 4% cash back for gas, 3% for travel, 2% at costco, 1% everything else.

Peddayana
1. Gas - Usually 10-20 cents/gallon cheaper than any other local gas (check Gas buddy) 2. Diapers/Bath towels/wipes/Laundry liquid/facial tissues etc in bulk so you save money 3. Sugar , Basmati rice , oil in bulk 4. Medicines are the best , Ibuprofen/Tylenol/Pepto/Nyquill/Allergy medicine/Inhalers cheap when bought in bulk Ex: Cetrizine 365 tabs : 14 $ (generic) , if you buy Zyrtec in CVS/Walmart - 30 tabs cost 18$. ( Be careful here as if you don't use them much a lot of medicines will go waste due to expiry date , but it is still a lot cheaper if you have family) 5. Flu shot 20$ for parents 6. good quality dress shirts , socks , Gloves , winter jackets 7. Nuts, Candy , Multi vitamins , Fiber supplements 8. 2 years warranty on electronics a lot more such as Insurance , Prescription Pharmacy etc , usually with Citi costco you get 2% cash back and then you get another 2% cash back for your Executive membership
