US Born infant - visitors visa

How long a US born infant stay can in India with visitors visa ?

i heard its 6 months. Is it possible to stay for more than 6 months ?

 

if yes, what are the options

apply for visa , firsthand at indian embassy , that allows stay for upto 6 months per entry

with oci , i dont think there is any restriction but oci takes 4 weeks after applying.

Yes. 6 months as far as I know. Get OCI card for unlimited stay.

you can stay beyond 6 months but OCI is better if you are sure if you gonna stay beyond 6 months.. and you can also apply for OCI from India..

so apply visitor visa.. go to India and apply OCI while you are in India.. that would be more easy and helpful..

ikkada undi Passport aa love da lo Indian embassy or CKGS lo stuck ayyindanuko pedda bokka...  visitor visa 2 weeks lopala ochesthadi...

Get an OCI you can stay for any amt of time

OCI card life long .... as ur passport reneval u have to update it...

 

multiple entry visa anukooo 6 months kante undalevu some restrictions are there .... 6+months kante ekkuva unte police report revunue dept letter als edoo lolli untadi malli .... 

 

so better apply for OCI ..ikkadithe easy ga vasthadi inida lo kuda apply cheya vachu ..... but anni place lo money bokka mana govt  dept telusu kada ela run ayithadoo file jaragadu nuvu emina iche varaku ...

check online lo each center ki entha time padutundi ani unati .... naa younger son ki 2 weeks lo vachesindi OCI card.... at NY center .... walk-in and online(mail) same time padathadi ...... walkin ayithe attestation ekkuva docs ki avasaram ledu ..... UPS lo cheyinchu attestation $3 or $6 first copy .......

Yes you have to reapply for OCi everytime you renew the passport

more than 6months - oci

Ckgs thru cheyali motham checklist andhulo untadi. Below are the main docs for oci

baby passport 

birth certif

parents passports

legal us us status docs

marriage certif

drivers license or utility bill for proof of addr

2 passport pics baby vi

 275 plus service fee plus return courier charges around 325 ki cc payment or cashier check or money order 

paivi anni originals unnatu notary - this form is available in their website

 minor kabati parent authorization form with notary -  this form is available in their website

application fill chei both ckgs and govt of ind

duration - 60days for oci card

us Passport- 15days lo vachidi

$45 dolloar anukunta bz they will update in their system with new passport num , latest passport pics tho and expire dates...... but chala better if you go for OCI 18yrs varaku ani teusu naku .... maa peddodu inkka 3+ inkka e avasram raledu .....

sure I’ll call ckgs 

if you are short on time and need to travel to india .  Evisa is your best option, but once issued is only valid for 6 months and void for ever after 6 months
If you have a week or more    , apply in person for visitor visa at nearest indian consulate, the vistor visa thius issued mostly will be valid for 10 yrs allowing a max of 180 days stay per entry into India

If you have 2 months of time, then apply for OCI , that gives unlimited access/entry and stay time in india as long  as it is valid.

yes idi challu once you start application in CKGS oka Check list vasthadi .... adi print out tesi docs collect cheyu ... doubts unte malli adugu .... ippudu chala easy chesadu CKGS vadu ....
