Indian vistor visa 5yrs istharu anthe....I dont think 10yrs (at least naa kid ki 5 icharu anthe).

OCI ki min 2 months time unte fine....in my case I had to travel soon so I applied Indian visa....direct walk-in vella (CKGS lo lolli why no appointment ani....edo emergency ani cheppi convince chesa)....but if possible take appointment online and drop off your application. within a week vachesthadi (max 2weeks lopu). India lo max 6 months undochu kid...beyond aithe you need police report etc but naa friend kid couple of time beyond 6 months unnaru....they approached local police station, vallu picha lite no need ani cheppi pampinchesaru anta....

If u ask me , I would go for OCI card anytime.. Once we have OCI its pretty easy to renew going forward.. edhava headaches em undaavuuu.. elago OCI or vistor visa ki same headaches starting lo when apply.. but once OCI just renew anthe.. fee elago kadtutham... oka 45 days time unte OCI is always better koncham expensive aina..  not sure OCI ki taktal undho ledhoo...

bhayya.. new born OCI application oka simple 10 steps lo eyyu based on your experience... not the online stuff but manam pakka / compulsory ga submit cheyyalsina docs or mailing lo patinchalsina jagrathalu kind of stuff..

check online lo each center ki entha time padutundi ani unati .... naa younger son ki 2 weeks lo vachesindi OCI card.... at NY center .... walk-in and online(mail) same time padathadi ...... walkin ayithe attestation ekkuva docs ki avasaram ledu ..... UPS lo cheyinchu attestation $3 or $6 first copy .......

inkka doubts unte adgu each step ela cheyalo chepthanu
