HC accepts petition against Chandrababu on SC direction; hearing on June 18 - Tv9

The Andhra Pradesh High Court accepted petition against former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the direction of the Supreme Court. Petitioner B Anil Kumar, who is a Republican Party leader, filed a petition in the High Court alleging that Chandrababu, being a caretaker Chief Minister, had distributed government funds for welfare schemes like Pasupu Kumkuma and Annadata Sukhibhava after election code came into effect. The petitioner urged the High Court to collect money from Chandrababu as voters were bribed for votes. The High Court will hear the petition on June 18.
