Drunk men harass airline employee in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: An employee of Indigo airlines, who was on her way back home at Shamshabad Town, was stalked by three unknown persons, where in she was teased and harassed on Friday night. Though there were reports of the accused throwing liquor at the victim, RGI Airport police denied it by calling it as rumour.It was around 11. 30pm on Friday, when the 25-year-old airline employee after completion of work, boarded a cab at RGIA to reach her residence. "The victim instead of getting down from the cab near her residence, chose to disembark some distance away from her home. The incident took place when she was walking on the road, which is a by lane," RGIA Inspector G Vijay Bhaskar Reddy told TOI. The victim’s residence was about few meters away from where she was followed. There were 3 youngsters on the bike and they started following and teasing the victim, while she was walking. The scared victim at one point of time raised hue and cry and it was at that time, the miscreants sped away. It is learnt that the girl yelled only after the accused threw liquor but police vehemently denied it. After the accused fled away, the victim immediately called her friend, with whom she went to RGIA police station and lodged a complaint late in the night.Police who started the investigation but they got a set back since none of the relevant CCTVs located in the area were working, since there was no power in the area, when the incident took place. The investigators said that they are still making efforts to trace the accused, who are still at large. RGIA police had registered a stalking case. The victim works in passenger service managing wing of Indigo Airlines.

 

 

I think police are lying here.. how cum there was no power when dora promised 24 hour uninterrupted power supply to that state ???
