saying this publicly unless you are behind a VPN is a risk ... mind you....I think my idea is not what you think it is... am not putting anything private and without user content online, if the businesses see interest in it, based on the model I develop and there is scope after looking at the viability factors and feasibility of not having to waste time on unneccessary hassles around the law then and then only.....

HIPAA ante okka certification kaadule andulone inka chaala vuntayi along with levels but that is fine I understand

it can be one of the hundreds of possibilities that can be come up with Thank you

of course, inta idea vachhinodiki HIPAA vuntundi ela deal cheyyalo telidu antava + employers would be interested to invest more for a particulary healthy profile rather than one who has a family history of BP Tension heartattack or self has those

as the more healthy he is or that he can prove with stats by getting from todays technology trackers

the more better output for the company

if you think from an employers perspective it is an great business model as they get more for the same salary what they pay

I'm gonna go a bit harsh on this one (sorry):

Take your terrible idea behind the barn and shoot it!! Just do it already!

Or just limit it to only users from India.

You are not being self-aware - you are making the same mistake every startup person makes - obsessed and thinking that their idea is the best ever in the market.

Why would any employer want to get sued for discrimination in hiring only healthy and slim people?? That's like an apartment renting to only white people, right? Equal-opportunity anybody?

Health is not equal to "skill".

You seem clueless about the legal issues surrounding your idea. There are laws and regulations.

Not to mention - I smell a lawsuit from LinkedIn for IP/trademark/servicemark/trade-dress/patent infringements for using their name/process which indicates your lack of knowledge in this area too. Yes, LinkedIn has over 1660  patents (!!!) in their portfolio and they could sue your as$ any way they want!! What do you have?? Just a lousy domain name and a silly business idea with a recipe to get sued? It won't succeed just because it has LinkedIn name in it (that's terrible again to try to piggyback on other's popularity - it just doesn't work the way you think). Furthermore, "LinkedIn" itself is the lousiest name in the history of business! Spotify is another lousy name - even its founders do not know what it means (they claim it stands for "Spot Identify" and they are embarrassed about it, LOL).

If you want to start a business, partner with an experienced person and let them help you. Half-baked knowledge is dangerous. Gain knowledge and experience and come up with an MVP.

The BIG question is - are you cut out for business? Are you prepared to work 100+ hours a week to grind it?? It is on YOU to make sure your business makes money and your employees get paid every 2 weeks (in addition to paying yourself). Doing business is not as easy as they portray in movies. It is very hard and lonely and scary up there!

Ok I will work on the idea and not share until a business case is chartered as I wanted to see if the idea works

Bro..asalu health enduku add cheyatam? What’s your selling point and if your target audience are same as the ones in LinkedIn why does this matter as job selection shouldn’t be depending on individuals health. Even HIV unna vadu job ivvalsinde and candidate disease gurinchi cheppalsina avasaram ledu as per the law. So most of them will tick on ‘I don’t want to reveal’

It is the same mistake you are making again that "every" single entrepreneur makes -

"Even if I get 1% of the market share, I'll be wildly successful".

Business doesn't work like that. Things take 10-X time, money, effort and hard work than original estimates to scratch the surface or get any traction/sales even with solid business ideas and most ventures go bankrupt. For instance, an email marketing campaign gets read by just under 3% of the recipients and so, the thought, "if I can get even 1% of the market share..." quickly becomes a nightmare.

Apparently, you are still fixated on your idea without realizing how impractical it is as a business. I've never heard any idea as bad as this one so far.

Health is not equal to "skill". Employers look for skills - not health. Why not add more requirements to your idea like - "good looks, skin color, age, height, weight, gender, marital status, $exual orientation, caste, religion, etc?"

There are data-storage regulations for PHI, PII data - leave alone, gathering such data.

Watch Shark Tank all seasons and episodes to learn how much you are mistaken. If you walk into Shark Tank with your amateur mindset, they will take your pants off on the national TV!

You will think differently a couple of years from now after realizing your current misconceptions.
