Jailing the most popular brazilian president Lula Da Silva, through trumped up charges of corruption and stopping him from contesting the brazilian elections, that he would have won.

Evidence has now come to light, about his conviction was a sham.

Lula Da Silva was once asked, why the elites in Brazil were so dead set against him, when they have benefited the most from his regime.

his answer was simple. They hated a factory worker acting as the president of Brazil, and absolutely couldn't handle that airports were now filled with all sorts of people, when they were previously reserved only for people from their class.

Modi's election is similar on many levels. India's uppercaste wants to maintain their status, at the cost of India's growth. Modi offers that to them. To the lower castes, he offers hope (false hope, which won't exist come next cycle).

sadly, there's no Lula in India. so Indian elites don't still have to do the things Bolsonaro did to become president.

but one day, they will have to. And I would be so happy to watch them squirm, and share their space with all and sundry.
