It’s 50 percent more than what tg is using I heard it needs 4500 megawatts more , e roju power issues unayi slowely power is getting cheaper and cheaper with more and more sources coming , kani project e roju kakapo the epdu katalemu

The state government will spend Rs 53,000 per acre every year towards operation and maintenance (O&M) costs of the Kaleshwaram project, while farmers at best may get a benefit of Rs 15,000 per acre.  Under any cropping pattern, with any production increase, farmers will not get even one-third of the O&M costs as net benefit after removing the cultivation costs.

The annual operations and maintenance (O&M) cost, according to the DPR, will be Rs 13,923 crore. This includes interest, electricity costs, annual maintenance charges, depreciation of the equipment etc. Again, in the real world, these maintenance costs are always much higher than indicated in the DPR.

Em raasindu bhaiyya govt is expecting 36 lacs acres to get benefit Fromm this project so 36 lacs multiplied by 53000 , em cheptunadu a numbers ekad ninchi vachayi oka ekaram ki 53000 karchu pedthe, govt would have given free 35000 to farmer per acre a rasinodiki dandam bhaiyyo,  inflation cost consider cheyakunda project katadam waste ante cheptuna how the future would be bhiayya

Foremost inflation, eppudu karchu 1 lak crores will be equal to 5lakh crores in 5 years, already land rates are in range of 10-20 lakh/acre and if govt have to 5x it is never going to be done in the furture if not now.

1) power prices have come down from Rs 11 to under Rs 5 now and will go below Rs 3 in the 5-10 years

2) the only reason why whole TG is not quenching under serve heat is because of Mission Bhagiraha, The whole project of Bhagiratha will come only to fruition when integrated with kaleswaram. That means the project serves drinking water needs and people will have pay for it eventually and that is not going to be free.

3) 10% of the water will be used for industrial needs, this will be paid for. currently in Chennai some of the IT offices have announced work from home in lieu of water shortage, some time in the furture water availability will be consideration for companies trying to establish. 

4) Village ponds and lakes will serve as alternate earners for some people like fisheries etc. 

5) Stablize the ground water levels

6) Farm yield will go up.
