Naku oka doubt vastundi. Here is my understanding

1) IT industry is pretty much surviving on USDINR conversion rate for the past decade or so.

2) USDINR exchange rate is in favour of OT industry because of Crude oil imports

Now, what's going to happen in 10-15 years from now:

With Electric vehicles becoming mainstream (to help with Imports of Crude oil, help pollution), our crude oil imports will drop significantly and that will strengthen INR

Once INR strengthens, the IT industry will have a tough time to compete in cost when compared to other countries and so may not be able to grow further and may even suffer

When that happens, what could be the next big thing for India's growth?

nee analysis correct aithe no more outsourcing to india but vere countries lo skills sets levu. so india IT companies ani us lo dokanam petharu and GC, other visa bochedu available

Indian economy is a 3 trillion $$ economy and with an unorganized sector present every where, the actual size may be beyond 4 billion.

IT is very small business compared to the size of Indian economy and it’s domestic consumption that is fueling the growth, not IT.

India is so vast and huge that even if electric cars take over the roads, we would need atleast 50 years to completely move from gas to electric.
