should they be declared as anti socials, if they are caught lying? ofcourse it should apply to liberals too. but its clear conservatives will have a hard time participating in any meaningful  way in politics if they are not allowed to lie.

This is a proposal and nothing is concluded. The rules of such an election or regulations are still unknown and you want to talk about checks and balances ? 

Lets have an idea where to put proper checks and balances first, for that we need to know the contents and regulations of such a proposal.

So when do you want to talk? after it has been implemented, and after we've had the first such election?

I've mentioned that there was already a half-baked report by NITI Aayog on this issue, which put forth lousy reasons to have this arrangement. That is enough to mock this idea.

the people who suggest changing a system should be the ones that should explain patiently why the system needs a change. in India its the opposite. They first make the change, and then ask its opponents to come up with reasons why it shouldn't take place. this is a democracy? lol.

people are so involved in their economic struggles, that politics is now a joke. this is why the RW is making a comeback.

Not because they have any decent ideas. they just come up with a stupid idea, make jokes around it, hire a bunch of attack dogs to silence dissidents, and before you realise you have changed the underlying structure of the constitution itself.

it used to be much harder before. Indira Gandhi had to declare emergency to keep people in check. Modi just had to let Ambani cheat his way into a 4G license, and everybody is busy with tiktok, and fake natonalist memes to actually worry about their own conditions too.

I’m my friend, I did not get an invite to attend the NITI-Aayog meeting so I don’t have info on the ‘half baked report’

Now that you seem to be having that report, What do you think are the loop holes ? Where do you think there should be checks and balances ?

lol. the confidence with which you said that I have nothing to argue, and it looks like you have nothing, except asking questions that are already answered, making ridiculous assertions (you dont have to be in the meeting, the report is public and is 6 months old, and already debunked by all and sundry), and asking open ended questions (I mentioned about one specific check and balance in the form of the difficulty of controlling both houses of parliament. first you resopnd to that, before expecting more from me).
