Sub-Inspector (SI) Piyush Kumar Bal of Charu Market police station has been suspended in connection with harassment and assault case of model and actor Ushoshi Sengupta and her cab driver.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) Partha Chatterjee of Maidan police station and SI Menan Majumdar of Bhawanipur police station have been served show cause notices.
