that is secondary for now..going forward they will optimize a lot by other means like delivery through underground canals as done in some parts of the project, use solar and wind energy etc.. we can leave that for the next generation to worry about since something more elegant can be planned as the technology evolves but the need of the hour to keep in check is  land acuqisition and construction costs. This project cost escalation will shoot upto 5 lakh crores if we have wait for another 5-10 years...hence it is now or never

ok good. The main problem,  if Govt changes everything will start from scratch in India.

ఒక్క ఏడాదిలో అన్ని అనుమతులు...

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు అవసరమైన అన్ని అనుమతులు సాధించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం పకడ్బందీ ప్రణాళికతో పని చేసింది. 2017 ఫ్రిబవరిలో కాళేశ్వరం సమగ్ర ప్రాజెక్టు నివేదిక(డిపిఆర్‌)ను కేంద్ర జల సంఘానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సమర్పించింది. జలసంఘం నుంచి వచ్చే కొర్రీలకు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సమాధానాలు ఇస్తూ  2017 అక్టోబరు 30న మొదట నీటి లభ్యత అనుమతి వస్తే 2018 జూన్‌ నాటికి జల సంఘం సాంకేతిక సలహా మండలి (టిఎసి) అనుమతి లభించింది. మొదటి అనుమతికి, సాంకేతిక సలహా కమిటీకి మధ్యనున్న 8 నెలల్లోనే అంతర్రాష్ట్ర అనుమతి, అటవీ, పర్యావరణ, సాగు ప్రణాళిక, ఇరిగేషన్‌ ప్లానింగ్‌.. ఇలా అన్ని అనుమతులూ లభించాయి. ఇంత భారీ ప్రాజెక్టుకు కేంద్ర జలసంఘం నుంచి అతి తక్కువ సమయంలో అన్ని అనుమతులూ రావటం అరుదైన అంశం. ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్‌ ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సమీక్షించి ఎప్పటికప్పుడు మాట్లాడుతూ లేఖలు రాస్తే.. అప్పటి నీటిపారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి హరీశ్‌రావు, ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి జోషి, ఇంజినీర్లు అనేక సార్లు దిల్లీ వెళ్లి అక్కడిక్కడే అభ్యంతరాలకు సమాధానం ఇస్తూ త్వరితగతిన అనుమతులు వచ్చేలా చేశారు.
