he's a bureaucrat. what's his solution? that just give money to farmers there ani kadha... hmmm.. its not a bad idea, but politically not feasible. people want dignity, not just money.

personally, its a surprise that AP govt agreed to this project. 300TMC water diversion per year is huge.

calling jagan for opening is a clever ploy from kcr.

depends on the area you live in. corporation has rationed supply to commercial establishments, and the IT corridor was heavily dependent on tankers that source water from very far. Those regions are feeling the heat.

I live in chetpet, where I don't feel anything. North Chennai, even with huge population density is not suffering water issues. Its just the IT corridor, and some areas close to the beach like triplicane (where the issue is water theft, I believe).

I mean north chennai's water issues are not particularly due to the current crisis. It was always water deficient, even with corporation reaching every household there. they are able to weather this crisis easily.
