No super stars and all that BS but performing well in every game. 

Hope NZ wins this WC, they deserved to last year till the final game. Will be a tribute to my fav batsman of all time Martin Crowe.

Michael Crowe from 1992. don't have any memories, but I remember greatbach's starts, and crowe's consistency.

they were by far the best team in 1992, until the semifinals. or did they make it to the semifinals? I don't really remember.

They lost in the semi finals under controversial circumstances, in a game washed out by rain for the most part. D/L method wasn't used back then. 

That and the other Semi final where SA had to face 13 balls for 22 which was later made to 22 required from 1 ball prompted ICC to switch to D/L method.

Martin Crowe was the originator of attacking batsmanship way ahead of his times. That and introducing a spinner to open the attack to surprise the opposition(Dipak Patel-off spinner) etc were some very innovative methods he used as a captain. Led the team from the front always, Wasim Akram called him the greatest batsman he had bowled to.
