first you don't go for unguided rafting.. when you are skilled and go alone, you need to be a very good swimmer and most people should know to swim.. it is all about being sensible in adventures too.. but I see your point of one moment can change your life.. happy for him and the family is together..

panic is one thing whick kills you, I agree.

vests are the other thing which saves you if you don’t panic

even with vests, you don't know which current you get caught into..downward swirls because of rocks are dangerous.. naaku oka experience vundi.. it was fearful..

Nenu oka sari Kayaking vella wife and chinna kid vesukoni potu gadi laga , river lo stuck ayyindi boat , water lo digithe , full slippery , almost padda , debba tagilindi  ,  boat ni malli set chesukune sariki doola teerindi , not a big thing but koncham bhayam vesindi because of kid , there was no one near by to help , aa taruvatha ilantivi khel khatam dukan bandh ye

but were luckily saved by other rafters ..within 1min or so..

kaani oka sari family mottam a incident lo chusi..he was shocked completely..

nenu chusina desi gallalo I can rate him as most adventurous..okkade backpacking ki veltadu 15 days ala..

but he was completely demoralised with that event...cheppadu..nuvvu kuda baita veltav kada..just warning you..

it takes just a minute for things to overturn...and life changes completely...jagratta ani cheppad..

cheptunnanta sepu he was so disturbed and kallalo neelu tirgutune unnai ataniki...

 

so just be careful guys..when u have family...adventure can come next..family first...
