What is the point of reservation?

Ee reservations valla long term lo emayina upayogam untada? By taking reservation, they are positioning themselves as part of the lower echelons of the society. Once the reservation is given, they don’t have to work as hard so they take things for granted. Knowledge and self betterment thakkuva as they are not trying to improve themselves. Other caste vallu kasta padali and be genuinely more knowledgeable, stronger and healthier to survive. This I think gives an evolutionary advantage to other castes in the long run. The more I think about it, the more I feel that it is a bane for them rather than a boon. It is designed to keep them where they are or worse destroy them- like a slow poison.

Prime example of reservations ante women ye. Right from the beginning of time, things have been handed out to them. So aa treatment valla they have become weaker and less intelligent. Now they are crying about equality after enjoying the benefits for millions of years.

Just curious on which basis is that thought process ani oka example UPSC civils exam ki General Category cut off 98 OBC ki 92 SC/ST 87 so hardly there is a gap yeah I understand competitive exams lo 1 mark also matters but oka 30 years ago aa gap 40 marks undedi now almost 10 I think there comes a day there wont be any difference between these cutoffs appudu reservation irrelevant ayithadi

I think its legitimate to maintain equality.

 

For example, a differently abled person(no hands, no legs, can't speak, can't hear,...)  may not be able to compete with someone who has everything. 

a person who has no money to get a good education up until intermediate, can't compete with you in Eamcet.
