Every neutral description of world war 2 that I read, fills me with dread, and wouldn't want to be either on the killing side, or on the side that gets killed.

what do you mean supposed to happen. I just phrased my original assertion poorly. I meant to say in the 21st century, and not by the end of century.

the quality of life that people aspire to live, even under the current levels of semi luxurious living (say abotut 10% of worlds population) is unsustainable.

what happens if more people want to live that life? war.
