yes long back padindi pay cheseyi best ledante so much documentation and front and back  they will ask all receipts

No, with new tax code you cannot itemize (at least for 100k paychecks). Thanks to @TRUMP

first of all miles and meals will be considered, if you are using your car for providing services to your client but not just for travelling to work. so just pay penalty and get it done with it.

Almost 9 years back ilage oka lafoot gaditho chepincha. Naku audit padindhi (was just simple). aa Lafoot gadiki call cheste, naku emi sambandam ledu ani cheppadu.

When I responded for the audit, I got about $30 back apparently.

Appati nundi, I do my own taxes and dont trust lafoot tax preparers.

It’s a mail audit, not a big deal if you can provide mileage logs. However, don’t include the miles you drive from your home to the work, as these miles can’t be claimed. Mileage for people who travel for work: salesman visiting multiple clients; a business consultant busting multiple clients a day, as he works from home; etc.

Same for meals, flights: send them credit card statements, along with your type written note.
