Govt should start some campaign to conserve water. #JalHiJeevanHein swachh bharath is an utter flop. govt has outsourced toilets constructed by the govt (with funds to various local bodies, including railways), and people are being charged 5rs to go piss.. 10rs to tatti. result: people are happy relieving themselves in the open like always. there are some free sulabh complexes, but they are very few. and the competition among cities for swacchh bharat funds is a joke too. Its like the central govt of India has no brains, no idea how policy should be designed, and has no care about whether they have reached the milestones. I spoke about this on national TV (dd bharati or something), in a forum when I had the opportunity to question the politicians on the dias. I actually addressed the congress rep, and asked how congi will deal with half baked policies like swachh bharat, and authoritarian ones like aadhar, but the bjp fuckface in the platform took it personally, and responded to it, accusing me of not knowing what I'm talking about. I offered to walk with him around the building that we were currently having this forum, and we can discuss about swacchh bharath after that. central govt measures are poorly thought out, and badly implemented, and are mostly susceptible to privatization. At a fundamental level, people in India (especially educated people) are so dumb, and greedy, that its hard battle to fight the establishment position. Quote
pottipotato Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 consistent govt supporter @Android_Halwa, use your pull in the state govt to do something. what is the use of blaming people for this? Quote
pottipotato Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 central govt has a plan. tada - link all the rivers, and fcuk India forever. lol. Indian elites disgust me so much. whether they are hindutva or liberal or neutral elite. stay away from india fcukers. Quote

I am just saying people need water awareness at that scale. Implementation is a different topic. Quote

They can simply ban all agricultural exports. its like exporting water out of the country. agriculture is by far the biggest consumer of water. Other activities put together consume about 5% of the water. that's the only thing central govt can do. creating lakes, maintaining them etc can only be done locally. but central won't do it. instead they offer to do river linking, which is a pipe dream, and an impractical and a useless solution. pottipotato Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 @Android_Halwa you support everything the govt does, with some twisted logic, and then you turn around and blame people for a crisis? what has your govt done for the water crisis? actually what has your govt done for anything at all, other than talking bullshit 'monkey baat'.
