ie export ban okati limited time ki teesesina chalu, prati intiki oka car vuntadi...rythu Bandhu paisa ki panikiradu..

is there any reason to think its actually relayed to the number of acres harvested or the yield per acre rising?

There are some farmers who need investment...

this is where the rice millers will come into the picture..this is a nexus.

The rice millers will provide finance initially, the fertilizer guy is also part of this nexus and will extend credit to the farmer...and once the crop is ready to harvest, the rice miller/trader picks up the harvest, then lays the farmer the money and deducts the finance extended to them and fertilizer costs...

But looks like next rainy season is going to be harsh..

Uncertain monsoon seasons are on way...because of climate change..

better stock pile than export....

It has already broke to an extent..

but right now, leased farmers have no option and such nexus still continues with them...

Infact, this rice miller-trader nexus is good system as it provides finances for unorganized sector and minimum returns are guaranteed as long has there is good rainfall and water...

All states have their own produce distribution systems in place...

in Tamil Nadu, they do no export unless they have excess..Bengal does not export either where as their consumption is high and excess, they sell to north east

TG sells a part of this procurement to Uttara Kannada which is pretty much fixed every year...

TG lo other states ki ammadam start pedithe farmers chala benefit avutaru, kani at the same time, people will have to spend atleast 100 rupees per kg for rice in retail market..

Price control kosam export cheyatledu ipatiki aithe, every 5 years ki ie policy okasari re look chestaru but grain output inni years record levels lo leka, price control kosam other states and international exports ban chesinaru...

or else, retail market lo people have to shell 100 rupees per KG, which will spike inflation rates upwards and out of control..
