June 2019 was the world's hottest June on record, says EU climate change service

Data collected by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) reported that June 2019 was “more than 2°C” (3.6°F) above average temperatures in Europe than the previous record from June 1999. Globally, June 2019 was “about 0.1°C higher” (0.18°F) than the record of June 2016.
