I have loan from dcu.

If I refinance car loan from dcu say I need to owe 25k on my old car and I am refinancing 55k can I use additinal 30k for my personal?

you can refinance for better interest rates, reduce monthly payments. 

you can also refinance for example when you have equity build on the asset. for example you paid out 20,000 which is the value you bought. and the current value of car is 15000, then you can refinance for 15000 and again you need to complete loan term until then bank will be holding your title.

If your car is worth 55k, yes you can refinance and use the extra money. But I’m not sure you can refinance with the same lender
