కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో సురేష్‌ (ఫైల్‌ ఫోటో)

డల్లాస్‌ : ప్రకాశం జిల్లాకు చెందిన ఎన్నారై నూనె సురేష్ ప్రమాదవశాత్తు దుర్మరణం చెందారు. కుటుంబం సమేతంగా హాలిడే ట్రిప్కి వెళ్లి ప్రమాదవశాత్తు జలపాతంలో పడి మృతి చెందాడు. డల్లాస్‌లోని సింటెల్ కంపెనీలో సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌గా సురేష్ పని చేస్తున్నాడు. స్వగ్రామంలో అంత్యక్రియలు తరలించేందుకు కుటుంబసభ్యుల ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారు. అయితే మృతదేహం తరలింపుకు దాదాపుగా 80 వేల డాలర్లు అవసరం కావటంతో కుటుంబసభ్యులు, బంధువులు సహాయం కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే ఫండ్ రైజింగ్ వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో అమెరికా లో స్థిరపడ్డ తెలుగు వారు, తెలుగు సంఘాలు తమకు తోచిన సహాయం అందజేస్తున్నాయి. వీలైనంత తొందరగా సురేష్ మృతదేహాన్ని తరలించే విధంగా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరుతున్నారు

gofund vaadu aithe entho % charge undhi man like 5% or less or 0% for personal charities (not sure though). Peoply who created that fund link will probably send the money to the family. Ala kakunda valle kontha dhobbesthe..antha kante neecham undadhu. Probably difficult ..because the amount raised appears there..

This is second person who died in a week. Another woman died on Wednesday, who is also from India at the same Falls.

DAVIS, Okla. (AP) —

Authorities in southern Oklahoma say a 39-year-old man has apparently drowned at a popular tourist destination.

Officials say the victim disappeared about noon Friday at Turner Falls near Davis, about 70 miles south of Oklahoma City.

 

Authorities say the man was standing on a ledge when he slipped and fell into the water. A team of divers from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered his body at about 4 p.m. His name has not been released.

It's the second apparent drowning at Turner Falls in less than a week. Authorities say a 27-year-old woman from North Texas died on Wednesday when she slipped from a ledge and didn't resurface. She was not identified.

Officials say that since 2016, at least eight people have drowned at Turner Falls.
