this Thyagarajan fellow made one of the biggest cult hits in the last decade in tamil cinema.. the movie's name is Aaranya Kaandam.

and that movie was not allowed to be screened in chennai, because of some reason.. may be cultural warriors objecting to s3x scenes in the movie. whatever it is. but the movie quickly gained cult status, and a lot of people watched it downloading from torrents. the movie won many international awards too.

this director was asked about it in a press conference. Not even a one-one interview. He was asked how he felt about being attacked by all and sundry, and when his movie will release in chennai.

he simply said that its not his problem to worry about all of that, and that its the producers problem to figure it. He's simply made his movie, and he's moved on now.
