If you have someone to collect rents etc, buy an apartment close to major IT centers OR very expensive rental areas and start a podshare. make this different from typical PGs by adding amenities from the US.

If you have land in a prime area, go for a commercial complex. and collaborate with your nearby schools or colleges and check if they have a need for any buildings for tuition hours. 

If you dont have land, Invest in some post office chits like that until you think of a proper business plan like imports exports , poultry farming etc.
