L Balaji was more off a seam bowler than Swing... Irfan is swing bowler.

L Balaji was more off a seam bowler than Swing... Irfan is swing bowler.

L Balaji wasn't used properly. Appatlo Kohli lanti captain leka he didn't get the backup else he would've been one of India's best bowlers of all time

Both are pretty naturally talented and different in ways, irfan was bit more consistent at that time than Balaji and irfan had added advantage of being better batsmen so was preferred pick in to the team later both dipped off for various reasons...

L Balaji career was effected by injuries when he was in his prime not that he wasn't handled properly also competition was pretty high like Zaheer, Irfan, Nehra, Munaf,Sreeshanth, R P singh etc and couldn't match to his earlier potential although made on off comes backs to national teams...
