This bill increases the per-country cap on family-based immigrant visas from 7% of the total number of such visas available that year to 15%, and eliminates the 7% cap for employment-based immigrant visas. It also removes an offset that reduced the number of visas for individuals from China.

Most of the Indians who area US citizens don't want the bill. Dems cant please minorities using this bill.

Lobbying might be the reason for this by big MNCs but it will backfire on them. Quality pothadi since options for Desi tech slaves are too many after this. Ippudu 10 hours chesey vadu on h1b, once they get green card, they won't work for 10 hours. Will jump to a different job.
