అలహాబాద్ హై కోర్టులో బరేలీకి చెందిన  సాక్షి దంపతులు దాఖలు చేసిన  పిటిషన్‌ సోమవారం  విచారణకు రానుంది. దీంతో యువ జంట కోర్టు గేట్ నంబర్ 3 వెలుపల వేచి వుండగా బ్లాక్‌ ఎస్‌యూవీ వచ్చి కొంతమంది సాయుధ వ్యక్తులు తుపాకీ గురిపెట్టి మరీ అపహరించుకు పోయారు.  ఉదయం 8.30 గంటలకు ఈ సంఘటన జరిగినట్టు ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది.  ప్రత్యక్ష సాక్షుల కథనం ప్రకారం యూపీ 80 అనే రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ నంబర్‌గల ఎస్‌యూవీ వెనుక  ‘ఛైర్మన్’ రాసి ఉంది. సీసీటీవీ  ఫుటేజీని స్కాన్ చేస్తున్నామని, వాహనాల తనిఖీ ప్రారంభించినట్లు పోలీసు ఉన్నతాధికారులు తెలిపారు. స్పెషల్ పోలీస్ సూపరింటెండెంట్ బరేలీ మునిరాజ్ మాట్లాడుతూ, ఈ దంపతులు  ప్రస్తుతం ఎక్కడ ఉన్నదీ తమ వద్ద సమాచారం లేదనీ, ఆచూకీ గురించి  తెలియజేస్తే, వారికి భద్రత కల్పిస్తామని  చెప్పారు.

According to eye-witnesses, the young couple was seen waiting outside the court gate number 3, early in the day when a black SUV came and pulled in the couple at gunpoint.

couple seeking police protection was on Monday kidnapped at gunpoint by armed men from outside the Allahabad High Court. The couple had moved the high court citing threat to their lives.

The incident took place at 8.30 am outside the Allahabad High Court. The timing of the incident led to confusion. Around the same time, Sakshi Misra, the daughter of the BJP MLA Rajesh Misra, and her husband Ajitesh Kumar were at the Allahabad High Court seeking protection.

News agency IANS reported that the couple kidnapped from outside the court were Sakshi and her husband Ajitesh. However, India Today later found out that Sakshi and Ajitesh were safe and attended the court proceedings. They got a favourable direction from the high court, which directed the administration to provide the couple adequate security.

Earlier it was reported, on the basis of eye-witness account, that the young couple -- yet unidentified -- was seen waiting outside the court gate number-3, from where they were kidnapped. Eyewitnesses said a black SUV stopped at the gate and pulled them in at gunpoint.

The SUV bore the registration number UP80, which belongs to Agra district, IANS reported.
