August will be bit damp but baguntadi....haridwar town as usual tourists and religious tourists tho nindipotadi but upper haridwar to rishikesh Chaka baguntadi....there are many tents and camping sites....Ganges river branches wide ga vuna degara locals arrange tent accommodation and camping facilities on the sand reefs of the river...lot of activities ...explore cheyadaniki baguntadi and mountain trekking and hike is a must and should...

And if you guys are driving, drive up to Mussoorie and Dehradun...deve baguntadi, chala time padtadi as it is completely ghat road..

Kedarnath kuda velochu, ikadinundi upper Himalayas kanipistayi, the real Himalayas...and the other side of these mountains is Nepal..

Yes.. been there.. Haridwar is a bit crowded and as such not that clean... You can cover Haridwar, Rishikesh & Mussoorie in 2/3 days.. Kempty Water falls enroute is a good pit stop..the original Liril commercial was shot there...Ganges is pristine in Rishikesh..  the temple at Rishikesh was a bit confusing .. Har ki Pairi.. we were going round and round and were unable to find where the actual deity was.. the two rope bridges.. ( Laxman & Ram Jhula ) are cool spots too.. Mussoorie is a hill station.. there is actually a Mt Everest viewing spot but you must be lucky to get a glimpse...you will enjoy the trip.. have fun..
